About the Author

In 2000, Kent Barnett started Management Outsourcing LLC to meet the business and project management needs of Fortune 100 firms and other major clients in diverse industries. He effectively addresses project management challenges ranging from operations and technology to turnarounds and rescues, with a specialization in strategic project initiatives of over $100+ million in international locations. He runs each engagement as a business, creating a professional environment where people feel comfortable asking questions and obtaining results. As a driven, change-oriented executive, Kent has consistently improved client performance and increased sales each year, eventually growing the annual business volume to more than $15 million. In 1997 Kent was CEO and co-founder of Project Resources, Incorporated. The company was founded with the same principles as Management Outsourcing LLC with more concentration on technology projects. In 1999 Project Resources, Incorporated was acquisitioned by ESI International in which Kent became the Senior Vice President for the Project Consulting Division.

 

Kent holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Information Systems from Robert Morris University. His certifications include Project Management Professional, Project Management for Experienced Professional, Software Verification and Validation, Risk Assessment and Hazard Analysis, Software Compliance for FDA, and Complaint Handling. For the past several years, Kent has actively participated as a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the American Management Association (AMA).
